We are a non-profit organization that brings together healthcare professionals concerned about the impact of climate change on the health of Illinois residents. Our goal is to raise awareness about the issue and advocate for policies that promote a healthier environment in our state.

Illinois (1895 to 2022)

Each stripe represents the averaged temperature over one year.  Red stripes are years that were hotter than the 1971-2000 average; blue stripes are years that were cooler.

The climate crisis is already harming Illinoisians and the impacts may get worse.

The climate crisis and the air pollution associated with greenhouse gasses are already affecting the health of Illinoisians.  Extreme temperatures, super-charged natural disasters, and increased air particulate matter currently affect how Illinoisians live.
